Effective autonomous missions depend on precise spatial planning and defensible virtual boundaries. Waypoints, altitude, camera pitch, speed, geofences, and clearance are not just configuration values. Together they describe what the aircraft will attempt to do when reality begins testing the plan.

The software can validate syntax and geometry. Human judgment must decide whether the plan deserves to become autonomous behavior.

At the command center, Jax builds a patrol around the facility and protects a high-voltage zone with a virtual boundary. On screen, the route is elegant. But every node represents a future physical action: climb, turn, accelerate, look, hold clearance, and remain inside the intended operating region.

The planner's job is therefore not to create a neat map. It is to convert mission intent into future aircraft behavior that can survive contact with the real site.

Altitude, camera pitch, speed, waypoint geometry, geofence boundaries, terrain, and structures all interact. A strong plan exposes those assumptions before launch so the operator can challenge them deliberately rather than discover them in flight.
